Funday at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Mankhurd
Every Saturday, our primary section students enthusiastically participate in a diverse range of engaging Funday Activities. These activities are purposefully crafted to nurture creativity, foster teamwork, and promote holistic development.

Purpose
The primary goal of Funday is to create an engaging environment that encourages students to explore interests beyond the traditional curriculum. It aims to:

• Promote teamwork and leadership.
• Encourage physical fitness.
• Develop cultural and artistic talents.
• Strengthen community and collaboration.

Activities
In our school, we conduct different activities from class 1 to class 5:

• Sports Activities: Football, basketball, volleyball, and athletics.
• Cultural Performances: Dance, music, and drama.
• Art and Craft: Creating different things from colored papers.
• Quiz: Intellectual activities to enhance knowledge and communication skills.
• Science Exhibitions: Showcasing innovative projects and models.
• Games and Yoga: Engaging in recreational activities, indoor games, drawing, and film shows.
• Scout and Guides Activities: Participating in activities related to scouting and guiding.
• Storytelling Activities: Sharing stories.
• Poem Recitation: Presenting poems.
• Mental Maths: Strengthening mathematical skills.
• Remedial Teaching: Providing additional support for slow learners.
• Eye-Hand Coordination Activities: Enhancing coordination skills.

Impact
