    Toy based pedagogy

    Toys have a great potential to help children in their holistic development.

    1. Toy based pedagogy makes teaching interesting, and children learn all the concepts effectively by exploring on their own instead of forceful teaching.

    2. Amongst the Traditional, Indigenous toys, PUPPETS are the most common and VISUALLY sticking, also effective. Puppet Shows give children the feel of a live show, Created by the teacher or themselves at times.

    3. Puppet shows put students in the role of a Creator, Story or Script writer, Performer, Voice Artist. A musician. A Dramatist and above all AN INVOLVED LEARNER, thus realizing and fulfilling the Third Goal of NIPUN BHARAT MISSION.

    4. Our teachers are devising innovative ways of Integrating PUPPETERY in delivering the contents of the topics, to make the content more interesting, child friendly, creative and Indigenous too!

    5. Puppetry is used for Story Telling, General Awareness, Concepts of EVS, Learning Basic Human Values and much more.

    6. PUPPET SHOWS have also been used as an Effective FUNDAY ACTICVITY.

    Introduction of English new words and phrases to enrich student’s vocabulary.


    1. Encourage student to speak English through skits, debates and elocution during classroom teaching.
    2. Reading session are conducted and students are encouraged to read newspaper (NIE) and magazines.
    3. Class library to encourage reading habits in class 7.
    4. Writing habit increased by writing review of the book and sharing thoughts of the book in their own word.

    Cleanliness Mission

    PM Shri KV Mankhurd started “The Class Project of Swachhagrahi’.



    1. Swachhagrahi students were assigned every class from I to XII.
    2. Under this project every week one class from primary as well as secondary is given ‘Cleanliness trophy’ for keeping class neat and clean.
    3. ‘Cleanliness trophy’ is a rotating trophy given to the classes
    4. to appreciate the maintenance of cleanliness in the classroom and school premises.
    5. This encouraged the students to be disciplined and keep their surroundings clean.
    6. Teachers also motivated students by guiding them the scientific importance of a clean and hygienic surrounding.
    7. The students ensured the cleanliness in every nook and corner of Vidyalaya. Further in this program, the class which won the cleanliness trophy maximum number of times in a year is announced as the best class of the year.
